Het weer...

Ok, vandaag even op zn nederlands...
Het weer in Kansas city...
De bladeren beginnen dan toch ook hier te verkleuren. Echt super mooi....rood, geel, groen the whole deal :-)
Sommige bomen beginnen nu kaal te worden. Gister was het 60 F maar kheb geen idee hoeveel graden dat is... (zal ik zo even uitzoeken op internet)
De ene dag kun je in je tshirt lopen een andere dag wil je je handschoenen, muts sjaal en winterjas aan. Vannacht toen we uit de prayer room kwamen vroor het zelfs!!! Ok ik loop hier nog steeds in mn zomerjas...dus dat was even een shock ;-)
Meestal schijnt de zon, af en toe hebben we heat lightnings, het onweert dan niet, maar de hele lucht is verlicht (dit zien wij omdat we snachts leven) het ziet er echt super mooi uit. Soms regent het, maar niet zo veel. Dus de herfst is hier erg aangenaam ;-) en er zijn veel eekhoorns.

Just to clear things up ;-)
If your spirit is not connected with God, than the prayer room is a torture.
A statement that Mike Bickle made today, and its true. Cause it makes you want to run, running away from God, but there is no where to run than God, at least in the prayer room.

Like I tell my room mates; we're gonna die!!! God is gonna kill us all! The prayer house is a slaughterhouse!!! We are gonna die!!!

Not sure if it's me being a drama mama or whatever ;-) cause is it kinda dramatic but its true.

Ok, to clear things up; don't worry, I mean; dying on the flesh needs to happen anyway, so that God can increase. God needs to increase and we need to decrease. God is real! So its actually very good and necessary.

Notes from Mike Bickle...

The reason God satisfies us with pleasure is because He created a hunger for pleasure in us. They each have an element of delight, pain and ache as they woo us into God' s presence. The enemy uses these cravings to woo us into darkness as well. When these longings are not touched in the grace of God they leave us empty; they leave us with pain, mourning and dissatisfaction. God created us with a "God-shaped vacuum" (gnawing emptiness) in our heart that only can be filled by God.

Satan counterfeits the pleasures that God created so that he might draw us away from God. Sin produces immediate pleasure. No one sins out of obligation. We sin because we believe that it will provide us pleasure that is superior to obeying God. The power of temptation rests on a deceptive promise that sin will bring more satisfaction than living for God.

Experiencing God is more effective in motivating us to resist sin that the fear of consequences. Why? Because the temptation to experience the immediate pleasure of sin is usually more powerful than the fear of punishment. We sin when our heart is hungry and unsatisfied with God. The choice we make when we are tempted with sin: it looks as if it will satisfy us, when in fact it is spoiled meat. The pleasures of God are a banquet set before us, a table of spiritual delights that can deliver us from the emptiness of seeking pleasure in sin. The way to free our heart from the domination of sin is by delighting in God. Encountering Jesus is a superior pleasure that transcends anything that sin can offer us. The allure of the immediate pleasure of sin is often more powerful that the fear of long- term consequences. The best way to overcome sin is in experiencing that His love is better than wine or being satisfied in God.

Ok recently I call the house of prayer the slaughter house. Not to offend anyone, but for real, you are gonna die... so many things are contrary to God and how He sees and feels and how He wants us to live...

Yes...thats what Im doing here, but Im not they only one...

Guess what...last night one of the leaders told us...

The boys who become a rabbi in Israel, they spend 12 (!!!) hours EACH DAY reading the Torah out loud and talking with each other about the Torah. They sit around a big table, having the Torah before them. They rock back and forth because they believe that they move with the flame of God while reading the Word. The flame of God doesn't stand still but is moving back and forward.

Gister 2 keer op 1 dag bij IHOP (International house of PANCAKES) gegeten :-)
Smiddags (voor mij ochtend vanwege ons nachtritme) met een stuk of 17 nederlanders en snachts (voor ons avondeten) met mn huisgenootjes en de buren :-)
Heel erg leuk en gezellig.
Het gaat hier zo anders...het is minder officieel in nederland waardoor je het idee hebt dat je elkaar al jaren kent en het kletst erg makkelijk ;-)
Hey, How are ya all doing guys? Tonight im gonna take care of ya, my name is enb bla bla bla ;-)
Kortom, het is erg gezellig en je hebt een extra tafelgenoot erbij namelijk de serveerster ;-)
Ze zijn mega vriendelijk, en dan niet omdat het werk is, maar omdat ze zo gewoon zijn en zo van; doe maar normaal dan doe je al gek genoeg we zijn allemaal mensen... jij leert hen kennen en zij leren jou kennen. Dat is dus helemaal iemkje proof ;-)
Ze vertelde dat ze last van haar schouder had en zo dus aan het eind hebben we met zn allen voor haar gebeden. They dont care that its in the middle of the restarant, zij wou alle gebeden wel hebben en alle zegeningen, well lets go for it. Wauw, echt super cool. Je kan zoveel delen en its so important. Ik hoop dat we dit vaker gaan doen, iedereen (including the serveerster) was helemaal enthousiast. Dus wie weet. Mensen uit omgeving en in de winkels waar ik ook kom, zijn best open (ja, kheb overal gesprekken geloof ik), ze vragen zelfs zo van; please remind me in your prayers, please pray for me. Wauw, das echt even wennen maar wel heel erg gaaf. En we hebben elke nacht toch 6 uren de tijd dus waarom niet ;-)
Im telling you crazyness is going on here, I love it!

I am so happy and sooooooo blessed to be here at IHOP :-D

In the place of weakness, he is tender with us
He is jealous in love for us.
God is FOR us, even in our weakness and struggle
INVASION, the first feeling when we gaze at Jesus or come before the Lord because there are many places in our heart that stand in opposition to God.
Feeling of invasion; this is too much. He is God, but He is not too mysterious.
Engage with the Word, hearing His heart.

God, what was in Your heart when You said; father I desire them... (make this personal and dialogue with God)
Dialogue back and forth until your own heart begins to believe it. He is your personal Bridegroom.
In times of weakness; engage with His heart.
Jesus is tender with you in your weakness.
Let your confidence be rooted in His affection for you, instead of your affection for Him. Transformation will happen.
God' slove for each individual is personal. He does not love generally. No one can take your place. You can not be replaced.We are a garden enclosed. No one can love Him for you, He waits for your response.
Your journey with God is personal.

Than...one day later Stuart Greaves preached on the reality of the lake of fire. I cant write all my notes cause it will only bring confusion...
But; tremble before Him, God is right...ALL THE TIME He is always right and we are not. God is jealous for you, if He can't have you thatn no one will, cause He loves you. God LOVES righteousness but HATES wickedness.
God has made a statement, He HATES sin, that is why He sent is Son, He has perfect hatred against sin.
We are like batteries, we must be connected to the positive and the negative. To hate what God hates and to love what God loves. We need to have that trembling before God.
The unreturned pens, gossiping, lying, God hates it and it is all reason to through us in hell for eternity. There is no excuse. God loves us and He is jealous, tremble before Him.
He is not a hollywood boy friend. He has a jealous fury and He hates wickedness

God says; if I can't have you, than no one will... God wants His people, but He will not force anyone, because He wants lovers. Love is voluntary. He will use His leadership&all His tricks, but He will not force. God wants more than people who are obedient, He wants lovers.

Believe the bible for it's word. Dive into the word of God

Types of obedience

Affection- based obedience
This is obedience that flows from experiencing Jesus' affection for us and then giving it back to Him. It is the strongest kind of obedience. It results in the deepest and most consistent obedience. A lovesick person endures anything for love.

Duty- based obedience
This is obedience that does not feel God's presence. God's Word requires that we obey God even when we do not feel inspired to do.

Fear- based
Or shame- based obedience is obedience that flows from the fear of being put to shame or the fear of suffering negative consequences. This is biblical. It is not enough to motivate us to consistently resist the pleasures of sin for many years.

The affection- based obedience is the strongest obedience

The Bride's obedience is rooted in a 2-fold spiritual identity.
#1 She sees herself as one that Jesus desires
#2 She sees herself as belonging totally to Jesus as her Beloved.
She is her Beloved' s B-e-c-a-u-s-e His desire is for her. Understanding His desire comes first. We love Him because He first loved us. 1 Jn 4:19

He calls us to voluntary love, therefore, He will gently move us without violating our free will.

- Idolatry is that we create God in our image instead of our image in God, God is not like us AT ALL

- We can't searh out God without God, the Spirit of God searches out the deep things of God

- Do you know why Jesus said; Lazarus come forth? It's because otherwise e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e would raise from the dead. Mountains melt like wax in Gods presence. His words have so much power.

- If you fast and you don't pray; than you're on a diet.

- God can change the world with a five second prayer when the life of God is in there.

- Some people say that to counsel an alcoholic, you have had to be an alcoholic yourself. That's a lie, cause where does that leave Jesus? He knew no sin...
