Who do you give the right to label you?

Ok gisteravond gingen we naar EGS (Encounter God Service) en daar ging het dus over; wie geef jij het recht je te labelen en/ of te zeggen wie jij bent... Ik heb een aantal notities geschreven (het is dus in het engels, maar niet te ingewikkeld hoor...)
Ergens in Mattheus geloof ik dat Jezus zegt laat de kinderen tot Mij komen, terwijl de discipelen ze wouden wegsturen... daar gign het onder andere over.

What role did you take as an child?
How have you allowed wounds to define your life? (zeg maar beschadigingen die je hebt opgelopen in je kindertijd of wanneer dan ook, op wat voor manier heeft dat je leven bepaald en richting gegeven aan je leven) en welke rol als kind heb je daarbij op je genomen (zo van het perfecte kind of het rebelse kind etc) Woorden die over je uit zijn gesproken zijn als pijlen die in je geschoten zijn. We continue to lock and block our hearts as long as we believe the arrows (de leugens en dat wat mensen zeggen wat je bent; van je bent dom, je kan niks etc). The devil wants to shut down your heart, believing that you are not loved and so on. He is a deceiver. Which makes us no longer want to be seen, no longer to be loved cause we have a locked heart. Our hearts are OR open OR locked, there is nothing in between. When your heart is locked, shut down, you are not able to receive love.
Destroy the message of the arrows, the lies you believe in about yourself.
Wounds can place a lable on you. What wrong label have you willingly embraced??? How has that wrong label affect your life and how you think about God?

Jesus only has the right to label us. He earned the right to define me who I am. No one else has that right, No person, No event, No accuses NO ONE has the right to label you and tell you who you are. Jesus knows you better than you yourself. He has the right to tell you who you are, nobody else has this right. If we don't believe this, then we give and allow others to tell us who we are. If we hand over that right to others, they can declare this and that over us, depending on their mood.
Jesus is the only one who can put a stamp of approval to us.
Jesus message to the children; come here, I like you! The disciples gave the opposite message.
The only way to find out, come to Him as a child.
Yes, there is risk involved to open your heart. You will feel again.
The love of your husband, wife, or friends, family is NOT enough, if you don't want to receive, when your heart is locked.
Ask Him to open your heart again and you will come alive again. Make a decision and open your heart.
Allowing His love to uproot the lies and reveal Truth. Feel Jesus affections/ love for you and don't run away, force yourself to stay there.
You will feel His love, you feel your pain, give Him your pain. He was made to bear our pain. That's His love in action. Give yourself to the Word, His Word is Truth.

You are Loved and you are a lover. This is why Jesus died for you, this is your identity.
